Community Service Ideas For Our House!

Should HOUSE 2 get involved in the community? What community service projects should we participate in? Any ideas?

yeah i think we should definately get involved on the community..

i think we should get involved because that way we get to have more confidece around other peop;e and in business..
we have to be able to interact w/ others..

idk wat exactly to do but sometin that has to do w/ cleaning up or something like that...

I think that would be a great idea not only we can have fun but at the same time help the community!I really like the dance idea with the 70's theme!It would be fun and a creative experience:D!

i think doing community would be great :)
i think we should go to a soup kitchen :] last year, we tutored kids at an elementary school. i felt really good knowing that i helped someone and i made a difference.
and i looove the idea of the dance<3

HOUSE 2 should totally do community service its not fair that the other house gets to!!

we should hang out / help out disable kids
during december we should donate like toothbrush, soap, socks, or bakee cookies for the homeless shelter people and give it to them for like christmas :D

I think we should go and volunteer at a senior home and like make them something to let them know people do care and think about them too.Or just by talking to them I guess and would hope our presence would be appreciated. Or we could do some sort of drive to help out unfortunate kids and just everyone we can.

i totally love the idea of community serive!

i think we should do a dance-a-thon. its a fun way to earn money and also great oppurtunity for our house. with a dance-a-thon we can colletc pledges for dancing a certain amount of time. we can also sell food, drinks, and other stuff to work with other programs. and all the money can go to charities.

I think we should also get involed in helping organazations as whole, we could do like a imaginary prom and entance fee could be an un-used toy or stuffed animal for children at hospital. Personally ive been to those hospitals and seen children suffer and I think giving them a little teddy bear would really put a smile on that chils face. yup thats my idea. and we can also do like car washes, to fund the money, also sell like bakery stuff.

After we do community service I think we should do a fashion show:DOr at least talk a little about fashion because that is part of buisness & marketing:]]

House 2 really does need to get involved. Maybe make things for ill kids in the hospital? Donate things for Christmas? Have a food drive? SOMETHING. Let's become known and do it right ;) We can do it!!!

well we do have a coffee shop that no one is going to use, so when it gets cold, why not use it for like a fundraiser or something like that.....and start selling it to people who want a good cup-a-joe!:)

That's be good for the schools rep. We should do something to help out some type of group.
-Kids in the Hospital?
-Anyone in the Hospital?
-Homeless?
-Disabled Kids?
-Retired adults?

i think the dance is a good idea for us kids at school, and everyone would enjoy the sock idea. but i also think we should be helping more people who need it. like breast cancer , hospitals, etc. a group or organization. like red cross or soemthing. we have had recent tragities, and with our economy, people need the help.

The sock hop idea is perfect.

But , if we instead did like a Halloween dance , where everyone could dress up however they wanted-
1. because not everyone has 60's or 70's stuff and
2. because we usually are not allowed to dress up at school so a halloween dance
is a good way to show off your costumes and stuff ;D

i think if we did that we'd have a better turn outtttt .


BUUUUTTT i just realized that it's already october and we'd need time to get it ready .
o.0
so maybe that's not a good idea afterall

Doing community service will be great. I personally like to help my community. Getting involve in the community will help a lot. The sock idea sounds perfect. Our community needs help at some things. I personally like to help children that have some kind of disease, for example cancer or hiv. I know many kids that are only 3 or 5 years old and have HIV. Many children die annually of cancer. Breast cancer is also an important issue to me, as well as children that have no family. If house 2 gets involved with community service it will be great because it will benefit house 2 in the fact that we are actually trying to do something to help our community.

I think community service will be a great thing to do:)

I would love to go in a a soup kitchen and helping out in serving the people who really need it..

Wow.. that would be the best!

I think the dance is a great idea also and the socks will really help out too.

I think we snould have a coat drive...

Because it is getting colder and people do not have so much money to buy new coats..

We should try and get some coats or jackets in for those who really need it... to get warm:)
